As a choreographer, I strive to tell stories through movement that transcend the scope of words. Additionally, I believe that all creative processes thrive on the power of collaboration.

In a Q&A in my MT Choreo class at Northwestern, Katie Spelman (choreographer of The Notebook) said “you can always tell from watching something what the rehearsal room was like.” This idea has stuck with me, and has been a driving factor in my choreographic journey.

My choreography represents the playful room that I lead while valuing specificity in movement. It is through ample preparation that I am able to lead a productive and lively rehearsal room where the dancers feel empowered to take the movement and make it their own.

As a teacher, I am passionate about unlocking the power of performance in the next generation of artists. It is through a balance of positivity and discipline that I foster an environment for artistic growth.

I have experience choreographing for musical theatre, music videos, recital routines, class combinations, and experiential pieces. My teaching experience spans several styles of dance, including ballet, tap, jazz, acro, musical theatre, and lyrical, and all ages from 3-year-olds to adults. At Northwestern, I am currently choreographing for my student dance groups, Tonik Tap and Steam Heat Dance Company.
